Heather,
I’m not a self-help reader but I enjoyed listening to this as an audio book。 The author’s experience as a motivational speaker really shines。 Especially good for women in the workplace!
Judit,
Ez a második könyv Mel Robbinstól, amit elolvastam és ez sem okozott csalódást。 Egyszerű szokások tudományosan alátámasztva és személyes példák。 Nagyon tetszett 🙌
JSter,
I think we all could use a little Mel Robbins in our lives。 When feeling dumpy or too hard on yourself。。。 pick this one up。
Ioanna Vikatou,
It had some very helpful insights indeed but often it would get repetitive and/or cheesy。 It could definitely be shorter and that would make it a lot better in my opinion。
Kim,
I love how Mel gives no nonsense advice that is easy to adapt to your life。
Brendalynne,
3。5 Stars。 I liked the overall message, but felt the book was very repetitive!
JPM,
Apply and it will be life changing。I’ve been doing the Five Second Rule for years, and my days are great。 They can be challenging, but I can decide in 5 seconds to turn it upside down。 The High 5 Habit is a fantastic addition to start the day。 I’m all smile when I high five my best friend in the mirror。Thanks MelJP
Philip,
Informative and inspiring。 Will listen to this again。
Jenn Smith,
It’s cute, uplifting even, but hardly needs to be the length it is。 A blog post would be better。
Cristina Flores,
Once I got over the corporate American-ness of this book I was able to appreciate the science this book and it's techniques are rooted in。 Not my usual choice of book but I'm glad I read it。 I think you can take some tips/practices and leave others and that's ok! Shannon,
I liked it, the 5 second rule was a little better, but I thought it was still a genuine Mel robbins。 Her podcast does cover the same thing though
Nicole,
About 2。5 stars in reality。 Mostly because it leaned too "self help" at times (for me, personally), which also made it feel surface at times。 That said, good first step for anyone interested in better understanding the power of habits。 About 2。5 stars in reality。 Mostly because it leaned too "self help" at times (for me, personally), which also made it feel surface at times。 That said, good first step for anyone interested in better understanding the power of habits。 。。。more
Joseph,
Nice and simple affirmation-based method for improving one’s outlook on their life。 It also appears backed with studies that ensure that the recommendations made are both feasible and well-researched。 The author also balances humor with motivational language that entertains while it teaches。
Coral,
Great book about cheering for and believing in yourself!Loved this quote:“Your mind is designed to help you achieve your dreams。 Your job is to believe it is possible and encourage yourself to keep walking toward it。”
Ashley Riley,
I read this as part of a work book club, and while the author has some good ideas, the presentation of the ideas felt disjointed。 Most of my book club members commented that the book's layout was an "ADHD rollercoaster" and I felt that the best description。 I read this as part of a work book club, and while the author has some good ideas, the presentation of the ideas felt disjointed。 Most of my book club members commented that the book's layout was an "ADHD rollercoaster" and I felt that the best description。 。。。more

Best book i have read in 2022。 Was such a wake up call。 I think i needed this at this time in life。 Highly recommend this to anyone who is looking to improve their relationship with themselves。
Amanda,
🎧 great, actionable tips。 Looking forward to getting the journal and starting that runway towards a fresh approach in 2023。
Gabby Dellinger,
Overall it was good。 Seemed to drag a little bit and get repetitive but I did take a few tactics away that I’ll try
Leeza Robertson,
I am a big fan of Mel, so I might be bit biased。 But paired with her podcasts and audible originals, this book is AMAZING!!!
Karen Cohen,
Mel has a great way getting you to understand the little things in life and how to make the changes to make you more happy。

Another inspiring book。 I love all these self help/non fiction books。 Every one I read I come away with something new or learn something that I didn’t realise。 This one is no different。 The high 5 habit makes so much sense。 Why shouldn’t we high 5 ourselves, look how far we have all come。 Taking so much inspiration from this book and using it everyday。 Even high fiving my son every day makes such a difference。 It’s so much better to look at things positively rather than negatively
Sara Braas,
I'm actually using the habits and it helped me restructure my mornings to get more exercise。 I'm actually using the habits and it helped me restructure my mornings to get more exercise。 。。。more

It's just a great, down to earth book about positive thinking, being kind to yourself and putting yourself first in the most sweary way。 Great reminders that are always needed in life。 It's just a great, down to earth book about positive thinking, being kind to yourself and putting yourself first in the most sweary way。 Great reminders that are always needed in life。 。。。more
Fatima Slim,
I had to drop this for the same reason everyone else is mentioning: This could have been 1 efficient blog post。 The message definitely reaches you after reading 500 times, but the book overall is really hard to finish。 I think some things tend to lose credibility when advertised this hard, and the high 5 habit itself is a bit flawed in my opinion。 We don't really high five the mirror, that might break it, so instead touching palms with my reflection makes me feel more lonely than celebrated, I d I had to drop this for the same reason everyone else is mentioning: This could have been 1 efficient blog post。 The message definitely reaches you after reading 500 times, but the book overall is really hard to finish。 I think some things tend to lose credibility when advertised this hard, and the high 5 habit itself is a bit flawed in my opinion。 We don't really high five the mirror, that might break it, so instead touching palms with my reflection makes me feel more lonely than celebrated, I don't know if it's just me 。。。more
Katie,
Good nuggets of wisdom。 200 pages too long。
Erdal,
This book could have been written with fifty packages。 A lot of rambling and ego stroking of the author。 The core of this book to high five yourself seems cheeky but it has some truth to it and that is why I give two stars。
